International Topical Steroid Addiction Network (ITSAN) Press Release

Hi skin friends, sorry for the long pause in updating, but I've been busy helping launch our new network "ITSAN." The name stand for the title above and we are growing strong in number and motivation to go viral with this terrible condition, ignored by most dermatologists and the National Eczema Society.
Overuse of steroid cause addiction in many, many people and this press release says it all. If you know of any health show, news publications or media that will do a time slot on this, please do contact us! We have had too many severely suffering children lately and the petition must get many more signatures to change labels on topical steroids with VERY visible warnings of this possible addiction. I am getting weekly emails from this site and glad to know that many are quitting the "drug."
Our ITSAN press release Please do read this amazing growth and how we already have 12 countries involved in this health and social dilemma!
I am going to share some disturbing video with you of a little boy whose mother found one of our sites and took her child off topical steroids as he was on them since a baby, too long! He is in the midst of the withdrawals now and it breaks our hearts to see this and know it could have been prevented if dermatologists would wake up and listen to the outcry of the people and the advice of Dr. Marvin Rapapaort and Dr. Mototsugu Fukuya on the over-prescibing of topical steroids in our world! The rise of eczema has been alarming to the tune of 400 per cent in the last 30 years due to the stronger production of topical steroids or "super steroids." This is a travesty affecting children as young as one month old to 93 year old people.
There are many products on the market that will moisturize the eczema without causing an addiction to the product. If a child is never given topical steroids, they grow out of it by their adult life, according to Dr. Rapaport who was head of the UCLA Dermatologists and remembers the days before 1955, when there were no such thing as topical steroids.
He said you never saw adults with eczema like we see today. We have natural oils like hemp, avocado, coconut, shea butter, calendula, arnica and many healthy alternatives to topical steroids which do NOT heal any skin condition, they were only meant to be a temporary fix to calm the immune system down, not shut it down for months and years. Topical steroids should be used no longer than two weeks and not on young children!
The treatment back then was coal tar ointment and the sun. He strongly recommends getting sun on the eczema. which helps produce vitamin D3, a huge healer to the skin and body. Do not burn, but get the sun, which has taken a bad rap and now thousands of people are slathering chemical laden sunscreen on their children and themselves, allowing the sun to "bake" the chemicals into the blood stream, which is more of the cause of skin cancer than the sun. Here is a natural recipe for making your own SAFE sunscreen, so you don't poison your body with more toxins than are already too many in our polluted world.
Please help us stop this horrible and unnecessary suffering and spread the word by sharing the press release and telling everyone you know that will listen. We will heal!
